David Preston was a finalist at the 2009 Montreux International Guitar competition and is a composer and co-leader for the critically acclaimed UK modern-jazz trio ‘Preston Glasgow Lowe’ . He has been active as a sideman to a variety of cross-generational UK musicians such as Jeremy Stacey, Lianne La Havas, Nathaniel Facey, Asaf Sirkis, Peter Ind, Emma Rawicz, Eska, Goldie & the Heritage Orchestra, Jamie Murray, and the internationally celebrated piano and drum virtuoso Gary Husband.
Seb Rochford is perhaps best known as a member of Polar Bear, two of whose albums were nominated for the Mercury Prize. Seb has worked extensively with Joanna MacGregor and Andy Sheppard, toured with Patti Smith and recorded with David Byrne and Brian Eno and played on Adele’s album ‘19’. Since late 2018 he has been playing with his new band Pulled by Magnets.
Elliot Galvin is one of the rising stars of UK jazz, Elliot is a key member of Dinosaur, led by Laura Jurd. A superbly gifted composer and pianist, his maverick imagination and magpie-like ability to blend a disparate world of influences has seen him compared to Django Bates. "He’s the kind of artist you always want to stay tuned in to, because you know he’s going to keep on coming up with surprises." John Fordham
